20 years ago, we learned that there was more to the symbol of the Batman than just Bruce Wayne. When age finally caught up with him, Wayne passed on the mantle of the Bat to young Terry McGinnis, and it was Terry who then donned an artsy bat-suit and pursued vengeance through a futuristic Gotham City. All of this was thanks to the animated series Batman Beyond.

Hello everybody 🙂 Today I want to show you my latest creation starring a scene from Avengers Engame: The Quantum Realm Portal which the Avengers used for time traveling. After seeing that scene in the movie I immediately wanted to build that time machine. Especially the shaping was a big challenge and it took a long time to find the the right techniques. Unfortunately the version of Hulk in the Quantum Suit isn´t available till December, therefore I had to use the normal version of him. For the MOC I got inspirations from Ranghaal (www.flickr.com/photos/154489981@N04), Dr. Zarkow (www.flickr.com/photos/dr-zarkow), Gabe F (www.flickr.com/photos/144260104@N03) and hellboy.lego (www.flickr.com/photos/hellboy95). Thanks for watching 🙂

After four years in court, the studio convinces a judge there’s no evidence of illicit copying and ample evidence of independent creation.

I’m going to assume that the position that this guy was saying was his own unique creation has been used by many other movies, comics, and artists in the past, well before he was ever on the scene.

What a goon.

EXILIUM 6 Comic Review for week of July 3rd, 2019
A nice wrapup of a series that I came in about halfway for. It could have used some more polish, but what we ended up with was still a fantasticly drawn and scripted book.

ICYMI 6 Comic Review for week of July 3rd, 2019
I’m really digging this series of unrelated stories that have been released previously by PUBLISHER, but I happened to miss.

IT CAME OUT ON A WEDNESDAY 7 Comic Review for week of July 3rd, 2019
I’m also really digging this series of unrelated one shot stories. LOG and BIRD are amazing analogues or Conan.

KINO 17 Comic Review for week of July 3rd, 2019
Final Issue?

MIDNIGHT MYSTERY 1 Comic Review for week of July 3rd, 2019
There’s an audio version of this story as well. It’s not my cup of tea, but I love seeing this type of medium flipping.

MIGHTY MASCOTS 2 Comic Review for week of July 3rd, 2019
This story is absolutely bonkers in the best way possible.

SCRIMSHAW 3 Comic Review for week of July 3rd, 2019
The first couple issues of Scrimshaw had me on the fence, but now that they’re moving the story along, I’m digging what they’re putting down.

SECTION ZERO 4 Comic Review for week of July 3rd, 2019
A time jump didn’t help me feel connected to the story, I barely recognize everyone involved, which is a shame, I was just starting to feel like this was a great story.

SPACE BANDITS 1 COVER E PICHELLI Comic Review for week of July 3rd, 2019
First issue of a new mark millar series, with a very strong start.

STAR TREK YEAR FIVE 3 Comic Review for week of July 3rd, 2019
Remember that Mobster episode from TOS? It’s back, taking some really cool leaps of imagination to make that planet less of a joke.

STAR WARS ADVENTURES 23 Comic Review for week of July 3rd, 2019
Chewing and Lando enter into a space race with an unexpected informant. The A story is much better than the B story this time around.

STAR WARS AGE OF RESISTANCE FINN 1 Comic Review for week of July 3rd, 2019
I’m not sure if I’m on board with every backstory for Finn making him out to be a saint amongst sinners, never having to pull the trigger when ordered to kill innocents.

STAR WARS TARGET VADER 1 Comic Review for week of July 3rd, 2019
Someone’s put a bounty out on Darth Vader! I bet it was the Emperor!

THE PUNISHER 13 Comic Review for week of July 3rd, 2019
Franks back in the US and with some IRL message on how he feels about police using his logo while being cops. Spoiler: cops should used The Punisher’s methods or logos.

TRUE BELIEVERS ABSOLUTE CARNAGE CARNAGE U.S.A. 1 Comic Review for week of July 3rd, 2019
American Carnage, speaking only as I could about a comic I can’t remember much of even though I read it just last night.

TRUE BELIEVERS ABSOLUTE CARNAGE SHE VENOM 1 Comic Review for week of July 3rd, 2019
Lady venom? ok.

BLOODSHOT RISING SPIRIT 8 Comic Review for week of June 26th, 2019
A confusing but satisfying end to this character’s original origin story that isn’t for the character you thought it was originally an origin for.

KICK ASS 15 COVER B FRUSIN Comic Review for week of June 26th, 2019
Drug money and family do not mix. Family and fires don’t mix either.

PUNK MAMBO 3 Comic Review for week of June 26th, 2019
I think I’m coming down on the side of not liking this character. She seems too contrived.

STAR WARS AGE OF REBELLION DARTH VADER 1 Comic Review for week of June 26th, 2019
What happens when the most powerful force user in the galaxy is told to do everything a “Grand Moff” says, “to the letter”? Obviously the Moff dies, but it’s a fun journey to witness him being murdered in a painful way, along with most of his bridge staff.

STAR WARS GALAXYS EDGE 3 Comic Review for week of June 26th, 2019
Hondo! Love the guy on TV, he’s a little less tolerable on the printed page, but I think he’s written pretty well in this issue.

SUMMIT 15 Comic Review for week of June 26th, 2019
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You’ll never believe who’s behind Mysterio’s attacks!

VALIANT UNIVERSE HANDBOOK 2019 EDITION 1 Comic Review for week of June 26th, 2019
I honestly thought I would struggle to get through this, there are a LOT of character and team profiles here, but this is some of the best written and laid out bios I’ve seen in comics.

X MEN GRAND DESIGN X TINCTION 2 Comic Review for week of June 26th, 2019
Finally! The second issue, so now I guess I can star reading the other …3 that I have?

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
